These are examples of what you could save when buying a New Home in Texas just by hiring me as your Real Estate Agent.
1) This just happened to me on my last transaction in June 2008. My client called me and said their agent doesn’t give rebates. I asked why and I guess the agent said his broker would not allow it. They will then put me down on the contract as your Real Estate Agent. The home’s price is $265,000 dollars.
- If you HIRE me you will get 5% back, that means you will receive $13,250 Dollars.
- If you don’t HIRE me as your Agent you get $0.00 Back.
- This money can be used towards closing costs or you can receive it as cash back at closing.
3) Say you are buying a home from D.R. Horton in San Antonio and they are paying a buyers agent 4% on all “to be built” homes through Oct. 31st. You hire me as your agent, you take my Registration Form with you to D.R. Horton Homes and present that to them. You find the home that you are interested and put down a deposit. They will then put me down on the contract as your Real Estate Agent. The home’s price is $185,000 dollars.
- If you HIRE me you will get 3% back, that means you will receive $5,550 Dollars.
- If you don’t HIRE me as your Agent you get $0.00 Back.
- This money can be used towards closing costs or you can receive it as cash back at closing.
4) You found your dream home with David Weekley in Houston (Woodlands) and they are paying a buyers agent 5% on all “Inventory” homes through Feb. 17th. You hire me as your agent, you take my Registration Form with you to David Weekley Homes and present that to them. You find the home that you are interested and put down a deposit. They will then put me down on the contract as your Real Estate Agent. The home’s price is $565,000 dollars.
- If you HIRE me you will get 4% back, that means you will receive $22,600 Dollars.
- If you don’t HIRE me as your Agent you get $0.00 Back.
- This money can be used towards closing costs or you can receive it as cash back at closing.
- In all the examples above, if you do receive Cash Back at closing. I will have to have you fill out a W-9 so I can 1099 you at the end of the year.
